1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage.
2. Cookies we use
The website currently uses only essential / functional cookies required to operate the site. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies on the website.
- madist.web.lang — site language preference; up to 12 months; first-party; remembers the language you choose.
- madist.web.auth — authentication session after login (HttpOnly); sliding expiry (longer if "remember me"); stores session tokens needed for Feature Requests and authenticated pages.
- madist.web.fr.translateAll — Feature Requests "translate all" preference; first-party; remembers your translation toggle.
- ASP.NET antiforgery cookie for secure form submissions (essential).
3. Local and session storage
When you dismiss the cookie notice we store madist-cookie-notice in localStorage so the banner is not shown again. Session storage may keep short-lived UI state (for example scroll position after form submit). These keys are not used for advertising.
4. Third-party cookies
The website does not embed third-party analytics or advertising pixels. Links to Apple App Store, Google Play or social networks lead to external sites with their own policies. The mobile app may use Google/Firebase SDKs under the Privacy Policy; that is separate from website cookies.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent login, language persistence or secure forms from working correctly.
