1. Goal of the game
In MADIST the goal is to earn more and more points to climb the rankings. The mechanism is simple and can be compared to a stock exchange: during a live match every footballer has a trade price that may evolve over the course of the game.
You have a credits wallet to buy footballers; when you sell them, points come from the difference between sell price and buy price. The operational goal is to buy and sell so the spread is as wide as possible: buy when value is low and sell when it is high.
You can play across the five main European leagues. Whoever reads the moment best, manages the wallet and achieves the best return over time wins.
2. Starting wallet
Every player starts with an equal credits wallet that is reset every day. Credits are used to buy footballers during matches. The better you buy and sell, the more opportunities you will have during matches. If a day does not go your way, no problem: you can make up for it on the next match day.
3. Player rating
Each footballer's rating during a match is provided by an independent, specialised third-party provider, external to MADIST. The platform does not autonomously process or alter those assessments: using an independent source guarantees impartiality and transparency towards every participant.
The rating reflects the footballer's performance over the course of the match and is updated periodically during the game. MADIST uses the rating as the main reference for the in-game market, on the terms set out in the following article.
4. How buy and sell prices are formed
The price at which you can buy or sell a footballer is determined by more than one factor. The main one is the live rating supplied by the independent third party described in the previous article (converted into in-game credits).
Alongside the rating come:
- market activity on that footballer in the ongoing match (user buys and sells), which may push the price up or down and may realign over time;
- relevant match events linked to the footballer (in particular goals, own goals and cards), which may add a further variation to the trade price only, without changing the third-party rating.
Match-event variations may include a temporary component that tends to fade in the following minutes (encouraging you to act at the right moment), and a component that lasts until the end of the match. In case of a sending-off (red card or second yellow), the price penalty remains for the rest of the match.
In short, the price shown in the app — and applied to the trade — may vary because of:
- changes in the rating from the independent third-party provider;
- interest and trading activity on the player;
- relevant match events and their effect on the price during the match;
- the natural settling over time of market components and temporary event effects.
The price displayed at the moment of purchase or sale is the effective trade price. MADIST does not publish the internal calculation parameters and may update how the price is formed to protect game balance.
5. Buying and selling
You can buy when you believe a player has room to grow and sell when you want to lock in a gain, reduce risk or free credits for new opportunities.
Points gained (or lost) on each trade come from the difference between sell price and buy price: the wider the spread in your favour, the better your ranking result.
6. Fair play and conduct
Every user must play fairly. Fraudulent behaviour, manipulation, improper use of the platform or attempts to alter rankings and results are forbidden.
7. Rankings
There are daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal rankings, based on points accumulated through buy and sell trades. Every day with matches counts towards participation in the rankings. Rankings reward the ability to generate profit and manage trades over time. MADIST reserves the right to award prizes to the top finishers of the various public rankings.
8. Private leagues
A Premium Pass is required to take part in private leagues. Each user may create a maximum of 5 active private leagues. Every private league has a start date and an end date. Private leagues may be closed or suspended by the creator or by MADIST administration. Using the invite code, users can join other private leagues to compete.
9. Premium Pass
The Premium Pass unlocks advanced MADIST app features: full Watch access with real-time charts, charts for all open positions, ad-free experience and participation in private leagues (create and join). You can activate the Premium Pass in the app for different durations (one week, one month, six months or one year).
10. Invite a friend
Each user can choose a unique personal invite code (letters and numbers only, max 10 characters) and share it with friends together with the app link. Anyone who registers can enter the friend code at sign-up (or within the days allowed after registration). When a friend successfully redeems the code, the inviter receives a Premium Pass and the invite is linked to the friend's profile.
